She had her property destroyed in an attack by supporters of Chief Jack Mahlangu in July 1975 at Goederede, near Dennilton, KwaNdebele, during conflict over the area’s incorporation into Lebowa. Chief Mahlangu supported the incorporation of Goederede into Lebowa because it would grant him chief rule but many residents resisted incorporation.
