Description Was killed on 17 August 1986 when the car she was travelling in detonated a landmine set by MK operatives between Nelspruit and Karina in Transvaal. Ms Segage, who was on her way to start working on a farm, died along with her daughter, four adults and one child. The ANC’s rural landmine campaign was aimed at the SADF and commandos but was called off as a result of the high rate of civilian casualties.
