A MK member from Bekkersdal who Westonaria, Transvaal , was detained by ANC security in 1981 and executed by order of an ANC military tribunal in 1981 in Quatro camp, Angola. Following the SADF bombing of Nova Catengue camp in 1979, there was an atmosphere of paranoia about infiltration by South African agents. In this context, a number of ANC members were detained and tort u red; some died as a result of assaults and some were executed.
