An IFP supporter who lost her home in Hopewell, Ixopo, Natal, when it was burnt down by ANC supporters in February 1992, allegedly because her husband was an induna and an IFP member. Political violence in Hopewell at this time claimed about ten lives and forced over 300 people to flee from the area. Most of the victims were IFP supporters.
