Was beaten, stabbed and had her home in Mvutshini, near Port Shepstone, Natal, burnt down by IFP supporters on 22 March 1994, allegedly because her sons were perceived to be ANC supporters. Ms Sima’s son and her neighbour, who was visiting, were shot dead in the attack.
