A UDF supporter, active in the campaign against the incorporation of Clermont into KwaZulu, who was shot dead by Inkatha supporters and Caprivi trainees in front of her five year old child while she was leaving her business premises at Clermont, near Durban, on 10 February 1988. Ms Tshabalala had survived an assassination attempt on 15 October 1987. Two perpetrators were granted amnesty (AC/1999/0332).
