MABENA, Daniel Mnindwa

A political activist who was beaten with brake cables and forced to chant political slogans while wearing car tyres around his neck by members of the SAP near Eersterus, Transvaal, in March 1986. Mr Mabena was arrested with about two hundred other Eersterus residents opposed to bantustan policies.
