KHUTO, Edward Ngwanammakau (aka ‘Pansu Smith’)A senior MK member from the far northern Transvaal who was shot dead by Security Branch operatives during a raid on a house in Mbabane, Swaziland, on 4 June 1986. Two other MK operatives were killed in the attack. The raid was planned and executed by Security Branches members of the Eastern Transvaal, Soweto and Vlakplaas. The head of the Security Branch and twelve other operatives were granted amnesty (AC/2000/087).References
