A PAC activist who was arrested in Vereeniging, Transvaal, on 21 March 1960 because he was regarded as one of the instigators of the Sharpeville mass demonstration against pass laws, and held in detention until 1963. The demonstration led to the Sharpeville massacre. Upon his release, Mr Kasa was banned from the Vaal Triangle. See Sharpeville massacre.
