An MK operative who was shot and killed by members of the SAP in Pietermaritzburg on 31 July 1988. Mr Khumalo had been arrested by two policemen and was allegedly killed while pointing out a firearms cache. TRC investigations subsequently located and exhumed his body from an unmarked grave. A bullet was found at the base of his skull.
