A UDF supporter who was shot and injured by members of the SAP in Vryburg, Cape, on 27 November 1985. After his release from hospital he was assaulted by a named policeman at the Vryburg police station. On 15 February 1986 he was taken to a rural area known as Die Lang Boom where he was severely tortured by policemen wearing balaclavas.
